This property will be the largest new cemetery in the last 50 years in Hawaii as well as probably in the US, and most certainly in the Pacific Rim countries including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand. This property is located in Honolulu, Hawaii and has beautiful vistas with the mountains behind overlooking the ocean near Diamond Head with ideal Feng Shui. The cemetery is also yards away from the Punchbowl which is a US memorial cemetery, the Arlington Cemetery of the Pacific, if you will. The Punchbowl is now substantially filled, as are all other cemeteries in Hawaii, with no large pieces of land for estate lots or multi-generational plots. The cemetery has all of the major benefits of scaling rationally, and progressing rapidly or slowly. Total density will approach approximately 200,000 spaces (cremation memorials are now the preferred choice, over funerals, with over 80% of people in Hawaii and the Pacific Rim choosing to be cremated). The cemetery is about to receive its business operating license and license for pre-need sales, and is also in the process of receiving a grading permit.

The prices of cemetery services, burials, and cremations have substantially increased in recent years. The scarcity has never been greater for cemeteries (burials and cremation plaques) and the demand has increased to include the Pacific Rim, where there is a great shortage of burial plots and many high-level cemetery companies and wealthy non-cemetery insider investors (such as Carlyle Group and Citigroup).

The cemetery company is interested in an outright sale or strategic joint venture partner to acquire an interest in the company. The Sponsor is an absolute co-controlling owner and investor in the cemetery company and is capable of dealing with knowledgeable and qualified investors in and beyond the cemetery business.
